951 cupcar ???
I recently bought a us-spec 951 that was already missing several parts and had some acident damage .
Today I discovered a VIN decoder on renntech and when I check the VIN nr. Of that 1986 951 I get the following: "Cupcar Turbo S Coupé (Canada spec)"
Can someone tell me what this means ? is this a rare turbo cup car?

My question is : where there ever any turbo cup cars produced for canada and if so how many .I can post pics of an (by now) completely naked body but I don't see how that will make things easier to explain.

Yes we had the "Rothman's Turbo Cup" here in Canada in the 80s. A competitor purchased these from Porsche. Any history in the records that this car was imported into Belgium from Canada.

flipo - I will PM you tomorrow with the people to talk to regards cup cars - yes Cup cars did sell to Canada but your car is not a Turbo S as these were made after 88.
