I was cleaning up my block for the new engine build and noticed it is a tolerance group 2 block. I bought some used pistions several months before I scrounged up the block and low and behold they are tolerance group 1.

Anyone have a set of turbo pistons that are tolerance group 2 they would like to part with?

I would measure the diameter of the pistons and the cylinders walls and see if the piston to wall clearance is in spec. I just installed a set of tolerance group 1 pistons into a tolerance group 2 block and the piston to wall clearance was well within the wear clearance.
