Let's not speculate, hmm? Give me some time to speak further with the manufacturer. Yes...the manufacturer, not a distributor.

Thanks for doing this Chad!

Still though... early, negative offset, concave face...

That would be absolutely badass

Put me down as tentative... I'm doing an LS swap, and want to go to 17"s, but I don't know width yet. Possibly 10" or even 11" for the rear wheels.

You can't have too much tire on a 948.

They do look good value for money. I've not heard of any Enkeis failing on the track either. It's harder or more expensive for them to make 1 piece cast wheels of differing sizes / offsets as opposed to 3 piece wheels. Wonder how many people would be out there to get a run of wider 18's?

Why don't you get them to do a 3 piece wheel?

That way you could have the custom center made, then adjust the offset with the rim 1/2's. You'd be able to use standard rim 1/2's to please all the different offset requirements.

BTW... The design is "so-so" with respect to looks. I'd be more interested in a center that looks more like this:

I'd be interested in the 18x8.5/10 set for late offset eta 50F/65R if available in that spec. Sorry if this is out of context since I'm in not in the 911 forum...

Given that these are "track" wheels how will they stand up on city streets?

I'd buy a 9" set with centers like the one Tony posted above, 3 piece makes more sense in order to dial in the perfect offset.

5 spokes never look good on 944s A design like Tonys would look so much better overall. I might be in either way though.
