Free AIR splitter- mid ohio mod.
heres what happens when you enter turn seven at mid ohio alittle too hot and end up in the sand trap. Didnt hurt the car but did push the oil cooler back and the ps pulley cut the oil cooler line so i spent a few hours splicing my oil line together. After that i adjusted the rear shocks and had a blast out there the next two days.

I'd suggest a CPR splitter, with one caution... its a *very* robust piece, and likely you would have a broken front bumper cover instead of splitter!
I noticed a bit more downforce in front with my V1 splitter. Karl notice a huge difference with the V3 going over Alpha Zero at HPT this weekend, fwiw.
Regards,

my nose panel had a rough life before i welded the vents in- it looks very straight from standing above it but at eye level it does bow down abit- something i fixed on the later versions i built for 333pg333.
yeah sam that was your splitter, then tifo, then mine- ive already fixed and painted it twice- time to retire it i guess.
a nice robust splitter would be fine by me- i usually scrape it on my driveway more than anything- the trip into the sand trap wouldnt have done this but there was a nice sized "ditch" along the edge and when i hit that i knew the splitter was a goner.

It looks like you will need to solid core the interior lip edge to get this one back close.....or some well placed 16g mesh w/ 2part to hold it together while you glass. Not a bad idea to use #10 set sleeves aligned with the OEM mouting holes. It will make it easier to get the hardware back in.

Dan, at least your fogs survived. Did you have them covered for the track sessions?
Hope I get to run Mid Ohio some time this year. My to-do list for Nelson is huge and I can't do a thing till its back from the body shop.

i put the 3m tape over the lenses- cant see it can you! I figure if they get smashed up i'll replace them w/ brake ducts - of course then i'll have no lights at all.
