The problem with that car is that it's a tube chassis (at least that's what the ad indicated). I'm almost certain that it would put it into classes that it would not be able to win in.

In the POC it would be put automatically into GT1 where it wouldn't stand a chance. Not sure about NASA or PCA off the top of my head.

Sorry...

The deal is screwy.

It's not your car. And there's no connection to the actual car owner.

Why announce that you have a potential buyer...?

Is the car actually for sale and who is selling the car?

I only ask because I am a serious buyer. I feel like there is some broker bs going on....

Guess I'll post back on pelican...

I PM'ed, but no answer.

No way to get a hold of the owner.

Not sure if the car is really for sale or not.

I would but I'm racing that weekend.

I think I'll shoot Dwain a call tomorrow. I'm sure he still has the owners number (since he sold the car to him...)

I didn't know.

I'm always looking for interesting cars. The deal with this car is that I would be potentially buying it to specifically race a certain class. If the car wasn't legal for that class, I wouldn't be interested.

I think this car could be competitive with a different (more hp) motor and a few other bits n pieces like traction control. Run it off E85 up in the 600hp+ region. Who knows....

It's a tube frame chassis. That means it's automatically a GT1 car (where it would get killed...).
