Default Need a temporary seat solution, steering wheel, door panels

So my entire interior is going to get redone first of next year(crosses fingers). Until then it still looks like crap and I want to spend a little bit of money on it just to tide me over. I'm buying a dash mat, redoing the doors, installing some temp carpet, and I want new seats to tide me over until I can buy the real ones.

So any direction you guys can shoot me in would be great. I need two manual seats to replace my current destoryed turbo S seats. Preferably something racey, and I could even do with a fixed back seat. Also where could I find RS style door covers? Is this a hard thing to swap out? Oh and I need a new steering wheel. I'm open to suggestions.

P.S. has anyone in the area heard of Jakes Autobody(high falls, NY)? I'm contemplating sending the car to them having the front bumper resprayed and realign the front gaps(still messed up from the wreck years ago). I want this car to be in mint condition. Its time to make the inside and outside perfect.

How little do you want to spend on seats?

There is a company on Ebay selling fixed back seats for 130 a seat. I cant vouch for the quality though.

link me... These seats would just be temorary(im buying carbon GT3 seats to get recovered with the rest of everything next year). So as long as they don't look like crap and fall apart in 6 months I don't care.

How do we know that those will fit in our cars? Do I need to order special brackets? How hard would install be. I'm tempted to just buy them right now. Great link.

That won't work. Full carbon GT3 seats are the money seats. These seats im trying to buy now need to be cheep. They are just to tide me over. Btw im selling my turbo S seats. Gabe(the guy who built my car) said he wanted them but, if he doesn't end up getting them then i'll put up a for sale thread or something. They need full recovering and form work but, i'll only be asking $200.00 for the pair. Hard to find Turbo S seats for 200 bucks even in todays economy.

John I dont know if they will fit in our cars or not, I am contemplating the full leather versions from them, if I can verify they will fit.

Hopefully I will be able to get some $$ to buy Porsche Sport seats for my Tan to Black interior conversion. (The dash is done!)

Damn I guess I need to contact them and see if they will fit or not. Hopefully someone smart who knows the dimensions of our cars can look at the link and say one way or the other. I'd don't know how the brackets will work though even if they would fit. hermmm

I was starting to get excited but, if i'd have to fool with custom this or custom that its not worth it. Maybe i'll get lucky. Anyone selling seats pm me btw.

Hey John I think those ebay seats will fit, the dimensions they list are approx the same as the stock seat.38x22x21.
just measure yours for comparision. as far as the install it should not be too hard to bolt up your manual sliders to those with some square tube stock and a drill. I am interested in your seats, but as you know I have to be carefull with my money untill I return to work from disability, when that happens I will be in a better position to purchase them from you. If you have a buyer lined up before then, dont hold them on my account.

Has anyone used these seats before? I just might pull the trigger on the black leather ones.

John, I have some race door cards for an LHD car, but these are for a manual window winder door. Not sure if they're what you're after but if they are let me know. We could work something out.

What are turbo S seats? Are they just sport seats?
