Default Strut brace Pictures for Future(mark)

Hi Guys,
here are some strut brace mounts that we made at work, Mark from Deutsch 9,asked to see them. So i thought i would show all you guys. We made our oun mainly because we wanted a strut brace with out a bend in it.

Looks cool Sean. How much more stiff is it than a bar with a curve or bend?

Thanks Ehall,
Well it all depends on the bar or tube in question. the straight alloy bar i have will will not bend as much if compared to the same bar with a bend in it already. Personally i believe it to be more rigid.

It might be tough to make and sell/ship from Australia. If the price was right, I'd buy one though.

im not sure about making/selling them. it took quite an amout of time to fab up the mounts as you could imagine, then weld the nuts on, cut the bar and counter sink the holes for a flush fit. the mount is made from 2mm thick steel plate, it doesnt move at all. ive had it on the car for about 2 years now. Anyone with a welder could make these with a bit of time on your hands.
im sure it would clear with a S2 motor
