The oil pump drive gear goes in, the o-ring is installed, then there is a shim/washer that is installed. Install the Crank key, and timing belt drive gear.

If you overnight parts to him on Monday, I bet you'd have them back on Friday. I'm just say'n....

Or...the CopyCad system from Caswell now comes with a yellow zinc system for the DIYer.
Sent the parts off about 10 days ago to Four-D metal in CA. I sent the ground and Matt at Four-D turned them around in 1 Day. Here is a photo of the finished product.

Looking good. Makes all the difference in the world to see all those gleaming parts on a new motor. Can't say enough about 4D either...

Can you post pick of all the heat shields once they are installed. I'm having a hard time remembering where they all go.

I will take detailed photos of the heat shields as I install them. Hopefully I'll have a lot of them installed by tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for clarifying about the front seal. I like shiny parts! I would like to rebuild my engine with 214k miles, but would really like to buy a used engine and rebuild it and then swap out engine.

Don't suppose anyone here has extra heat shields lying around?

I might be a little worried about that stainless drain line after it has been zinc coated. It might spring a leak since the inner line is teflon or rubber.Just an FYI.

It is not a direct bolt on. I think it is either 110-120Amp.
Nissan Quest. If you search for Nissan Quest alternator their is a lot of information on it.

I, for one, will personally paypal you the cost of your favorite six pack when you've finished this a written it all up with spread sheet. This will be priceless for many of in the future, and I'm encouraging everyone to buy you a six pack on completion.
