Default FS: Lindsey Racing Super 75/8 Stage V, Dry

I have a LR Super 75 with a #8 hotside in Stage V trim for sale. This is a dry turbo. I ran this turbo on my car for about 1000 miles and later replaced it with a GT30R. Compared to the GT30R it was laggy. However, it makes similar peak RWHP/RWTQ numbers to the GT @ 17 PSI.

$500 obo

Please PM for details. Thx

Hey bud,
all For Sale threads require a price. Just a heads up so your post doesn't get deleted.

Thanks, this was my first "FS" post and was not aware of protocol.

The GT30R is definately a better fit for what I wanted. The double ball bearing design allows it to spool much more quickly. The turbine is state of the art and more effecient. The GT30R completely outperforms the LR75 until 4,500 rpms. At that point the turbos are similar iwth the GT30R having a slight advantage.

The downside is that this was very expensive upgrade. We had to fabricate a downpipe and crossover. We also had to make modifications to the turbo case so that it did not interfere with the steering.

I had my shop do the work but this upgrade was 3x to 4x more expensive than the LR75 upgrade. If the users is looking for good results on dyno or spends most of his/her time on the highway, the LR75 would be a more cost effective solution.

I have been on a quest for a flat TQ curve. This is why I also upgraded to a 6 speed (not as successful an upgrade as the GT30R).

Hell, I fab all the time and it was a problem. Lots of time involved.
Bum p for a turbo that doesn't require much hassle.

Although, "We also had to make modifications to the turbo case so that it did not interfere with the steering." WTH? .. A quote from the an antiquated 80's movie, Mr. Mom..."You're doing it wrong."

If you have the skills, tools and time to do your own fabrication, then there is no issue. I have none of the above. I have to pay by the hour to get my work done.

I am not sure what the issue was with the turbo case. There was some bracket on the GT30R that was not on the K26/6 or LR75 that had to be removed. It was not a big problem, just something else that required extra work.

The GT30R truly transformed the car. Of all the upgrades I have made, this is the one that provided the best ROI. I wish I had done this before investing in the 6 speed. In fact, I think the GT30R with the stock LSD 5-speed would have been the better driver at my HP/TQ levels.

Either way that's gotta be one quick little b%%ch. IIRC your weight is ~ 2600 too.

GLWS it is a good deal.

If you use a turbo timer or give the car adequate time to cool down after a run before shutoff it really makes little difference.
