Default Water in Dash?

I've noticed that I can hear water moving around in the dash area, sounds like the passenger side. I'm not real familiar with the 951 sounds yet. Is this normal, or is water leaking in from somewhere and pooling up? Thanks.

I think I may have found the answer, it was on page 15 or so of my search lol! I think it is due to air being in the heater line passing through the dash area. Topping off the coolant was recommended to remedy the sound.

+1 on on the drain.

You may want to pull the radio and center console and get ready when you free up the drain plug. Also blow compressed air down the nipple to blow out garbage or open it up, as the exhaust heat can close it up.

Had to do this on mine.

When (if) after a hard left turn water comes gushing out of your glovebox, you can bet it's the drain. Ask me how I know.

Thanks, I'll check out the evaporator drain plug, where is it located? I've got the glovebox and radio both out at the moment, so this shouldn't be too hard.

In the center of the console area, far back just in front of the firewall covering on the top of the trans tunnel. It is a black hose coming from the heater core. pull it it might stick a bit, and get ready to catch water from the heater core nipple. Then blow compressed air to make sure it will drain.

I agree. Bleed the coolant system. Don't just top it off. Then, see if you can find a coolant leak.
