And we did it clean too. There is a cat pre-turbo.This car will easily pass the CA emissions and still has a 90% increase in power.

Very impressive bit of engineering. However, first time I saw one of these little wonders it brought back memories of one of my High school buddies. His parents gave him a Renault Dauphine (ok, I’m a 60’s guy). He was not too proud of it to say the least given what other guys had, but being a creative sort he figured out how he could impress girls with it. Like the not-so-Smart Car it was tall, narrow and handled like a wagon. So, he bought two Bell crash helmets for he and his date/pal etc. Had it down solid in about a week he could roll it anywhere and anytime. While other guys might curse the drive in or someone’s house he’s just come flying in and do a roll. Amazing some of the really hot girls he got after ending up in their front yard. Yea, parents being parents that didn’t last too long but he had his identity. Maybe the Smart will continue that heritage with this generation…..

It seems like you're only making 115 when you blow air on the intercooler, which would never happen in real world conditions. I don't see how there will ever be any airflow through it. Was there no room to put it up in the front of the car?

They actually do make quite a big difference. But I bet you could get some super slim pusher fans on top of the IC to help cool, or maybe a water to air IC. Either way, its a badass kit and I had no Idea that they were rear engine or rear wheel drive lol.
