Screw-type lift. Sweet.

When I started my dream garage, I bought the lift first and had it sitting outside wrapped in shrink-wrap for a year while I went through permit approvals and construction.

Getting that lift into the structure was an awesome feeling!

Skunk. That's only $663 USD if my conversion is correct, what a deal! By the way, that part of Australia looks just like a West Texas oil services lot.

I'm starting to worry about its condition and the reputation of twin screw hoists . yeh not a bad deal but better ones often go for 1600 and there 2600 new . I'm in Melbourne and thats in Geelong the next biggest city in the state of victoria south east state should be a few more pics in a couple weeks when i get it bolted down so there's still racking and floor paint on the shopping list

A friend of mine recently put a lift in his garage and let me use it to swap out the diff on my BMW a week or so ago. I can't describe how much easier it was to do this while standing under the car instead of laying on my back on the cold floor.

Standing upright on two legs to do mechanical work made me feel like I'd actually evolved

Congrats and good buy on the lift.

Nice snag! Hopefully the moving parts aren't too rusted, if they are a little elbow grease and some replacement parts should do the trick.

I've crawled around my little dungeon cursing and swearing i would never tackle another car again with out a hoist .

I will be doing alots of work so i can drop the intire drive line out onto foot high trollies get it fully prepped and get in.
these cars big front guards and long nose and busy engine bay make them particularly bad.

Nice one Adam, but don't get the agent offside too early. You may need him one day.
btw what's it like towing one of our cars like that? Something to consider when thinking of trackcar projects. What's it like through traffic and lane changing?

The weather in Sweden is so depressing right now, looks like you have some space over in the shop for a bed!

Sure, Adam's place is open house to any card carrying Rennlist member. Don't even bother phoning. Just show up. Party 24/7
