On the E-01 you have a start boost and a gain adjustment. I( don 't think you can set boost by rpm but I never messed with mine that much, heck I haven't started the car for nearly a year!

After experimenting with the various Electronic Boost Controllers, I decided to combine the good features from each and come up with my own. On Friday I received the solenoid that meets my specifications. Yesterday, I tested a new boost controller, and I like the results. This new EBC offers all of the features outlined at the beginning of this thread.

- Fail Safe Mode - If the EBC is disconnected, you just run off of the WG spring
- RPM based boost curve- You can specify how much boost to run at what RPM?
- Boost ramp - You can specify how fast/slow you want the boost to build/ramp up. This is based on RPM and/or BOOST curve.
- Boost log & Playback - You can log boost, RPM together as well as many other engine variables. Playback is also available.
- Max Boost log - Keep track of the highest boost value
- Multiple boost profiles - You can switch between multiple boost profiles (High/Low) on the fly. Have your fueling profile activated at the same time.
- External triggers - You can set a external trigger based on a preset boost value. Activate V-FLEX overboost...
- Ease of Use - Easy to setup, of course I need to write the supporting documents.
- Laptop programmable - All of the programming is done via a laptop?

Of course, the price is VERY attractive! Vitesse customers using the Vitesse PiggyBack and V-FLEX software just need to add our boost solenoid. The price will be around $100.

Wow John I am impressed. I would be all over this + MAF kit if I didn't just have to pay for school. As soon as I can scrap together the money... you will be hearing from me

I'm in. This will go very nicely with your Stage 4 kit on my newly rebuilt 2.8!

Marc, you could just fit it near the oil catch can. Plenty of room left "there"

I will be ordering the solenoids today. Since it's a custom order, will give a update on the ETA when I have it. Of course, I have the write the installation and setup document.

For now, due to the safety issues, the VR-EBC will be offered to V-FLEX users only. Without the V-FLEX there is no way to trigger overboost protection.

I will update the website when I have everything in place to ship.
