Is this legit or a scam? Never heard of one and amazed by the price tag

I seem to remember a few years ago a Rennlister who used to post a lot on the 944 and 951 forums and this guy was building or had a Callaway-built 944. I believe he was from California.

Yes, Callaway turbocharged early 944s before Porsche made the 951. Don't know if I'd pay 60K for one, but they are pretty rare.

Uhhh. Id hate to **** on his parade, but thats not a Callaway car.


EDIT: My **** up. It looks like it is actually. I take that back, just looked more closely at it.

Yeah that whole statement can be summed up as "I am totally bull****ting you all, have picture of a regular 944 and don't have to be responsible for your stupidity in believing me."

Well they did make a callaway turbo 944 in 83 but they also sold the just the kits to put on the car it must have the callaway #plate on the dash but my opition the car is CRAP! I got one just rusting in my back yard and for the record a callaway verses a stock 951 the 951 will crush it ...just my 0.02 cents .....ask me how i know
