use your manual one as well as your factory one or get an ebc that will modfy the factory signal so then you will retain knock retard witch could cost you an engine if you ditch it

When you cay factory one you mean the KLR correct?
I have a Profec B that is going in the car once I am finished with my project.
I will be running a TecGT so I do not know how a Profec interacts with the KLR.

I dumped an APEXI AVC-R, went back to a manual, then picked up a profec b type S and love it. If you like bells and whistles then I recommend the Blitz or APEXI AVC-R. If you want a solid controller with easy adjustments that you can set and forget then I recommend the Profec B. The Apexi was just too much of a PITA for me but it worked great. I hate screwing with electronic stuff..........

Well initially that is what I wanted to do but boost control isn't as flexible as you would think through the Tec. You have to create tables in WinTec for each boost level you want to run. And if you want to run multiple levels you need to wire in some sort of switch to switch between them.
Eventually maybe I will go through the trouble of setting up all the tables and wire in a switchbut for now I figured I would control boost independently. I do not want to bite off more then I can chew.

I use an Apexi AVC-R which is great however some of the functions do not work for our cars. I really wish they did. The injector duty cycle and speedometer monitors do not have the correct settings. These two thing however do not affect the function in any way. It's a great unit if you like to dial your boost in exactly how you want it and enjoy spending hours and hours fine tuning. If you want set it and go, then use a Profec B.

Im really looking for something accurate that I can just set and forget. The mbc just seems to lack accuracy, i want to be able to dial in exactly what psi I want and forget it.

Something with a digital display would be nice.
