I still say 16v engines arn't heaps more money as there is no need for big cams valves or port jobs ...

My wife took these pictures (the turbo is at my house, not over here in Iraq with me) and yesterday she went with her friend to tryout for "American Idol."

Well to be completely honest I don't have any specific power goals. I just wanted to have a nice engine made with the best components I could afford. I'm going to surprise myself with the numbers.

Sweet! Can't be losing those! BTW the block will be picked up from my friends house on monday. I have UPS tracking numbers if you'd like me to send them to you. Don't quite know an ETA yet. It will be two boxes, one with the block and another with everything else.

Build status as of 2 July 2009:
It is getting close! When I get any pictures of the process, I'll throw them up here.
- Block is enroute to Chris Whites shop and should be there in a day or so. Once it arrives, work will begin next week!
- Pistons have already arrive and sleeves are on their way as well.
- Have new valves/springs for the head refresh.
- Cam will be done in about a week.
- Turbo is in my possession at my home.
- SFR Stg 2 headers will arrive at my home in about a week and a half.
It is getting close! When I get any pictures of the process, I'll throw them up here.

Alright, things are actually moving along.
Anything else cosmetic anyone can think of that would be a great idea? (besides 968 spoiler, I'm workin' on that one)
- Everything is at Chris Whites shop now. Last I spoke he was removing the old head studs and getting the block ready.
- SFR Stg 2 headers in the mail and on their way to my house.
- Cam is paid for and enroute to Chris white
- CPR V1 splitter is enroute
