Been driving the car during the summer of 2012. I am about to pull the engine to address some leaks and also to switch out the semi-solid engine mounts with standard ones. Gotta love the 3.1L engines!!!

What leaks do you have and how did they get there?

It's good to hear you're enjoying your new engine!

Just a pesky leak around the lower balance shaft housing. Don't know of any other way to solve it than pulling the engine (which just so happens to co-inside with wanting to change out the MM).

I am very much enjoying the engine. Couldn't imagine living with a 2.5 ever again!

I read that if you want to change that, you'll need to remove the X-member, and hold the engine up with a hoist or one of them hoists that sit on the car that holds the motor when removing the x-member.

Either that or remove the engine. I say remove it. Yes it'll take longer but it'll make the job so much more easier.

Which semi solid mounts do you have? To much vibration?

CEP. Didn't like the vibration. Thought it wouldn't bother me, but I changed my mind.

Same here, I went with LR Ultra Mounts. Going to switch back to stock.
