Your previous post sounded a tad bit humorous so I figured I'd throw you back some

Thanks! Wasn't able to get as much work done today but hopefully tomorrow or the next day I can report back that I am leak free!

Darwin, It's sad to see a guy of your age dealing with leak issues. If you can't figure it out, get some of these. This is what Koa uses!

I'm actually about to find out. Just gotta tighten up the v-bands on the exhaust, install the coil packs/wires, intercooler pipes, and add oil...

Getting nervous...

That is the most inspirational picture I've seen in a long time. Love it.

Howdy, just wondering why you wouldnt try the 16v head ,along with the turbo would b the ultimate build.also are you going with the same stroke with the 106mm's.im doing a similiar build?

A 16v turbo was not what I wanted. I didn't care to have to get a custom intake manifold, and different headers, and all the other issues that arise when trying to turbo a 16v head.

As far as stroke, you somewhat confused me. my engine has a stroke of 88mm.

Thanks.was just wondered if u changed the stroke when u placed new rods and pistons.i hear some people opt for shorter throw or something.anyways hope the build is going good.having a block sleeved right now.i wanted to try all stock rebuild but i guess they dont make 100mm sleeves.so i told the shop to order some 104's .carrilo hopefully. Its an 87 S motor.looking for a nice strong bottom end, with scraper and baffle.a full rebuild caps bearings pulleys.once some of the debt paid id like to completely go through the head with a stage 4 or 5 upgrade.make a breathe easy out of it .maybe port out intake and exhaust ,some upgraded headers and ill b one happy camper
