I am guessing the balance shaft delete is universal? They only changed the bearing bridge between 86 and later. In 1986, the outer bearing bridge bolted on to the block, then you installed the balance shaft cover. In 1987, that changed ,and the outer bearing bridge was built into the balance shaft cover, which eliminated that one part.

the bolts for the beating did not go through the cover on this one. it was on the bridge and secured by nuts.

Just looked, I see there are different BS delete kits between the years, not sure what the difference is.

i have a auto tensioner from my 87 the block didnt come with any of the timing belts rollers ect.

ok that solves it. still looks like a 6 too me but it could be a G that got messed up.

Are there studs to mount it on the block you are building? I am guessing no.

I don't know what the difference is on the BS delete kit, but you might want to pull it back apart now and get the correct kit for the 86. Would suck to get it in the car and it starts puking oil, or there is a feed issue to the turbo.
