Default You guys will enjoy this...

Hello, I'm new here. I have always been a porsche guy since I was a kid. Currently I own a 2006 cayenne S titanium edition and a '99 996. On saturday I will be the new owner of a 1988 944 turbo S. The car is very clean. It's more fun to drive than the 996. It has had 3 previous owners and is very well documented. PPI came clean. Can you belive the car has the original clutch and it's within specs? I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Engine work? Or the PO painted/powdercoated the head just for fun?

Oh yeah, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Looks beautiful, even with those 80's interiors, hehehe. Unique.

Excellent car!

Only in the '80s could they sell an interior like that. I'm really amazed how little the "studio" fabric has faded from sun exposure. Most, including mine, are nowhere near that vivid.

Man that's a nice clean car but who styled the interior, Rodney Dangerfield? WOW that's loud, but even that's in fantastic condition. Amazing find.

The current owner had all the seals and hoses done 2 years ago, at that time they removed the top of the engine and they painted the cover. I saw all the recipts. He also took pictures and the engine looks pretty clean inside. If this car was yours, how much would you ask for it? I think it's a special car and I plan on keeping it original. I love the interior.

all original depends on the miles. Its easy 15k car that clean. If the miles are real low you could add several more thousand to it. However it won't be worth that right now because the market is so soft but, I don't think you are planning on resale anyhow.

Its a very clean car. You are a lucky guy.

Wow, very nice.
Hope you plan to keep it original.
And yes, when you pull the cam cover, stripe it back down to bare alum.

Hey that's my car!! Rafael, I hope you are looking forward to delivery on Friday.

Wachuko- I had the camtower gaskets replaced- they were leaking. The intake and camtower looked like crap so I had them painted while they were out.

and to be honest, I really think the car is worth $15K- but given market conditions and my strong desire for a 997TT.....
