a station near me just started carrying e-85..

I really want to switch but cannot justify the 2 1/2 plus hour drive each way just to fill up the tank

seems like alot of work too switch.... i might switch mine over too propane like my truck!!!

yea it is soo much work..... when I first got my 951 it took all of ..oh..10 seconds.and a 7/16 wrench

I am 90 miles north of syracuse which puts me about 170 mils to rochester or about the same to albany.

i was searching around and it looked like it was going too need a new tank fuel lines injectors. alot of stuff. i would convert in a second. i got a E-85 station right in town. im seriously looking into propane conversion.

I was already going to convert, but now I don't have to go all the way down to atl to fill up my big 60 gallon drum

Read a bit more and search 'Blown 944's threads/posts. It's not hard.

Hey, don't mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone converted to LP? Turbos run on LP? What's the process. (Too lazy to search, but if there is info please pass on.)

im going too convert mine i think. tuning isnt hard because it runs off of the stock computers ECU, bacicly a piggy back. the only problem i see is that it dosent have the pressure needed you need to pump the vapor too give it enough pressure to enter the manifold. otherwise it will get pushed back into the regulator. I work with a company that converts all our trucks and they say they can make me a kit too convert it. 110octain with meth injection ftw
