Sorry to hear about those events. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your father/family during this time.

This is just my opinion, but it seems extremely selfish that she would not let you stay with your ailing father! If that was me, I would have told her I'll be back when I get back(but of course it's easier to sit here and say I would have done that, then actually do that.)

I'll try to send a few bucks your way when we get a paypal address. I think we need to move fast so your stuff doesn't end up on the curb!

 

My plan will be to fly to California with a friend to help me load and drive. Rent a car to get from the airport to a uhaull facility rent a truck and car trailer. Drop off the rental car.Gather up my car and belongings and hit the road back to Georgia. You guys are just awsome I just did not know where else to turn!

Just remember there are a lot of women out there, and even though times are tough you'll learn from this just like anything else. Stay close to your kids regardless, they are truly what's important.

That is just an awful thing to read.
One major life changing event after another.
Then a broken down car just rub salt in all the wounds.

My GF's dad had Hodgkin's Lymphoma (sp?) And fought it for 2 years. Long story short he
ultimately beat it. All the time Lorri spent with her father and stress of dealing with life's issues was very
hard for both of us. But everyone came thru.

You will find a new job and a new girl, most important thing is being there to support your father
in his time need.
