Lo and behold! I'm actually a bit positively surprised myself.
(Also forgot to mention the engine is running the late N/A cam)

It actually hits 1 bar a fraction below 3400 rpm.

A note, the MGP is the pressure with barometric correction.
Also note the cool intake temps..

Great result Duke! Amazing really. So to clarify, when you do the test in 4th what speed do you start from? Are you just cruising at speed 'X' and then floor it? Same thing with eg 100kph - 200kph times. Do you just cruise along in whatever gear and then just floor it, or is it a time that is measured just passing through those speeds going flat out? Not that you're providing those times, just that I know that the Europeans measure this particular one quite often.

In this test I started from around 2500 rpm in 4th gear.
100-200 km/h times are taken from a flying run.

Hey! 4th gear 3400 rpm equals 115,6 km/h so who can claim it's reckless

A bit too slow for optimal acceleration. This turbo is overkill for this powerlevel.

Shifting from 2nd to 3rd at 6400 rpm lands in 3rd on around 4200 rpm.
1 bar in 3rd comes up at 4500-4600 rpm.

When I get my interference fixed I can shift at 7000-7200 rpm as I should and then the numbers should be better.

Hmmm perhaps I should take a lunch break test drive and raise the boost a bit more...

What boost are you running now? Don't get too greedy and pump 27psi through this engine lol

Just running 1 bar / 15 psi, next step is 1,2 bar / 18 psi.
Will take this engine up to 22 psi later, still on pump fuel.

BTW your avatar makes me dizzy!

mine - gt3076r- hits 1bar @3200 without a good lean to rich trick. - goes straight to .8 lambda anywhere. I need to adjust it. So if the gt35 did it any later than 3500,I'd say you screwed up. - oh yeah - my test was a 3rd gear run starting at 1750rpm.
