Default Replica Turbo Cup/Club Sport Strut Tower Bar

I'm looking for one of the turbo cup/club sport strut tower bars that oddjob made a while back. If anyone has one that they are willing to part with please let me know. I will give you a very good price for it.

Thanks in advance,
Chad

Thanks for the lead guys. He is not sure he wants to sell it. If he plans on using it I can understand why. Let's just hope that oddjob does another run so those of use who procrastinated before can get one.

Finger crossed,
Chad

I've been thinking about one, and so have a few others.

I assume it consists of the two weld-on metal brackets (with blind nuts) and the cross bar (which has a slight bend) and 4 bolts? Maybe it's something we can make up pretty easily.

I have a connection where I can usually get laser-cut sheet metal - I'd just need to make the patterns up.

Chad, let me know if you are able to come up with one.

Otherwise, anyone else also want one?

I'm interested, Jim. (Either in a pattern or in a finished product).

I was talking with Animus a few weeks ago, and I think he'd like one too.

I had one of these bars in my 944 TS. The bar has two complex bends, both ends back and down and one side is longer than the other. The brackets are pretty standard. Making the bar is sure to be the difficult part. And, you really can't weld the brackets in place without the bar. You might be able to reproduce the bar if you had one, but I think constructing one would be somewhat hard to do.

YMMV of course.

Judson just sold me his but I would gladly buy a spare. You never know what might happen to the car and I always like to have spare parts so count me in on your build if you decided to do another run. I won't back out on you now.

Thanks again,
Chad
