If its legal I am interested
Dan,
The font of the nose [where the tow eye attaches] is the most forward point on the stock body. If you drop a vertical from the front of the nose, then measure forward from the bottom lip of the nose where the batwing attaches to intercept the vertical, you'll measure approximately 4.5".

On that basis Patrick's race spoiler can extend up to 5.5" from the mounting lip and still be PCA legal. From what I've seen here, the race model will probably fall within the vertical bound, and be perfectly legal with room to spare.

Tony,
You are indeed correct. We worked with Diago (Renns username) on the PCA regulations from the outset to ensure that the design would not violate any rules. IIRC the horizontal plane measurement is at 4", which as you stated leaves some room to spare.

Let me know when mine is available for pickup. If you have the clear lenses I will get them from you at that time as well.

Dan,
Just clarify, what Diago was informing me of were the more stringent SCCA guidelines, not the PCA.

However, it is compliant with both, so no probelms there.

I had a nightmare last night that you got the first batch and something was horribly wrong, so you had to cancel the whole manufacturing run and start again.

OH GOD....that was the beginning of December when I had an issue with the brake duct clearances and had to do a new mold from scratch ($$$$$).

And it was a nightmare.....but all is well now, thank god.

But, to answer your question (and yes, this was covered to some degree):

-Units ship in from the manufacturer starting Jan 29th(arrive here Tuesday)
-Units come in batches of 6 or 8 (I'll have to check my invoice for exact)
-As I receive them I will be shipping back out in the order they were ordered
-shipments will be arriving every other day (2/3, 2/5, 2/9, 2/11, 2/13..etc..) until complete.
-this "batch" arrangement was the only way I could get these now.

I will be packing/shipping these every night.

I am expecting our mold mock up to be arriving back in house any day now. I will install and have pics in a new thread same day.

So are you PMing people as you ship, or do we cross our fingers and hope to see a splitter one day soon?
I'm hoping...

Richard,
I am in the process now of posting the shipping order. Give me an hour. I am out of town on business and the first 6 came in this morning. The guys are dealing with those as well as what they REALLY get paid to do. We are going as fast we can.
