Sooo....I took my spare nose (the one I have listed for sale...now no longer for sale-sorry) to do a 3-D laser scan of the entire edge to fully replicate the exact mounting bracket angle and incorporate this IDENTICAL edge into our mold
To some this may mean nothing, but to those who know about this process this is a very big deal. Another 3k but..whatever...the lip mounting should be perfectly seamed AND the pre-drills will be a one for one.
Now that's a dramatic departure from the general run of after-market body parts for our cars. I have yet to see an after-market part that does not require endless fiddling to fit properly, and that's because they don't do any detailed work on the moulds beyond a simple wood plug.
This sounds like it will be a superb product, Patrick. Thanks much for the care you are taking. I'm sure the community will respond with lots of well deserved orders over the long haul, which would be well deserved.
I'm looking forward to getting the street version but still hoping that the race version will be available before the race season starts.
