If you haven't already done so, put me down for a V1. I am also semi-local and would be more than willing to arrange a test-fit with the production model.

Also I need 1 944 N/A for mock up in the same time frame (about 2 weeks)

Any volunteers??
I drive a 944 N/A race car, live near DC, and have a track weekend coming up October 11-12.

I'm not sure I folllowed where the N/A possibility appeared in this thread, but I have a couple of N/A cars that would be available for mock-up.

For a race car application, my interest is in a front valence/air dam in the Carrara GTR style that can be used with a stock bumper. I would need brake cooling ducts, so I'd have to be able to cut holes or have fog light holes that could be modified/used. I would also be mounting a flat splitter/undertray to the bottom, so it would need to accomidate that. Very interested in shear pins and quick-release fasteners. I'd buy 2 or 3 at the prices contemplated.

I much prefer the look and aerodynamics of the 951 nose and would just buy another header panel if necessary, but I need to be able to bump things with the bumper without doing perminent damage.

PM me if you'd like to borrow a car.

Steve,
I sincerely appreciate all the offers. A Renns member that lives a few miles away has offered to bring his N/A to my facility and leave it for as long as I need it, so we just recently got that part resolved. I may, however, take you up on the track testing, IF the N/A version is ready by then. I am not doing a front valance or air dam at this point for the N/A, not sure where that came from...just a front splitter and maybe a lip or chin style spoiler. Sorry for any confusion, and again thanks for your offers...I'll be in touch.

Cheers

Yes, but as I stated we just have to wait until the 1st of the month to process...I know it is stupid, but that's the FED's for you. I am trying to find a way to speed it up, but we're really not set-up properly to do daily sales with a CC. I'll keep you posted.

OK. Another track weekend on 11/8-9/08 if that works out. I'd still be interested in one of the 951 noses, depending on how resistant to a little rubbin' they might be...

Hally, I wonder if it's not worth a few Aussies going in together to get the freight down?

STEVE! HE's NOT making 951 noses! He's making splitters! They attach UNDER our noses.
