Gentleman,

It does NOT flex at high speed....it cuts through the air, it does not push through the air.

The rock demostration was to illustrate its' unique ability to flex under load without damage to the splitter OR your nose...remember this was a 65+lb rock causing it to flex up. The depth and composition of the splitter allows for transference of horizontal and vertical energies to be dissapated along the length x width x 2.533 of the impacted surface. Reduce the multiplier accordingly if additional hardware (greater than stock) is utilized.

The splitter, at high speed, distorts about as much as your front end caves in...it doesn't.

I will do my best, as stated earlier, to acquire a camera mount this weekend annd record the actual event (splitter live @ 125 mph) and post it.

No worries. I think this was more of a gneric discussion as opposed to one specific to this part/application.

Wow I'm not in the market for one now, but when I am, you can count me on me for buying one. And kudos to you, that is one of the best spoiler products ever made for our cars!

This sounds encouraging. Any chance to get some product photos that show the contours, shape, etc., to better advantage? You described it as being a different shape and rake than the AIR and I would love to see that in photos. Regardless, I'm down for one for my S2 cab; but I'd like to take a good look at the aero qualities before getting one for the track car.

He's put tentative dates on all this. Read through the post/s. This guy is a doer not just a talker.

No you do not. It's my friends 951 and those lights are just normal eurospec ones.

I only received one (yesterday)... anyway, the PP fees are structured by which PP method you choose to pay by. Verify with PP what your applicable charges would be then apply them to the total I forwarded to you. OR to avoid any fees send a check direct.

Yep...I had to keep the car an extra few weeks for some splitter work so I did not get it painted when I thought I was. However, I was by there this afternoon and he is taking it in Thursday and I am picking it up on Monday (he's working the weekend to complete it). I want you to see the quality of his work before you make a decision....I did ask him about getting your car in, and he pretty much echoed what I was thinking...show you mine, and if you like, call him. $1300.00 cash...no body work I explaied that you would need some and he'll work with you.

I am still working feverishly on the splitters...we ran into an oven problem, (splitters are slightly too big for what we have) so I am tryinng to find the most prudent method to resolve this. The estimates for these larger ovens go anywhere from 10K to 25K dollars. That's a pretty big hit, but with so much already invested it makes little sense to not finish...October 10th...ugh.
