Default CAR FIRES UP, RUNS PERFECT!!!!

Thanks everyone for the fantastic ideas and help!

My brother had 2 BMW techs come down, my mother called 2 of her friends that own a specialty shop for 930 and 993 911s. 4 techs, 1 hour, 2 cases of beer, and a carton of all you can smoke Marlboro lights..... CAR FIRES UP! YYYYEEEAHHHH!!!!!!

I am never touching the car again. They (Porsche techs) rated me $20 an hour for any work that I want done.

The damn green wire. It was pulled out of the DME at pin #21. The inner wire was damaged and was grounding to the outter shielding.

in his defense, atleast all of his posts were legit tech and DIY help needed. None of them asked about neon lights and wheels with spinners!

So, do I get $200? On a serious note, joining the Rennlist group helps the cause. Membership isn't that much for the information received.

Well, don't blow a nut! I never have a problem with too many tech questions, IF the guy asking is actually trying to do his own work.
What I don't like is when someone is asking ricer questions or otherwise attempting to take the half assed, cheap way out.

Glad you got it fixed.
I'll echo what Brian said. The info one gains from this board is MORE than worth the 17 or 18 bucks that it costs to become a member.

quick search reveals over 20 new threads for mrporsche951 this month alone.
A non contributing (non-paying) user with over 20 threads a month. Sorry folks a bit much in my book.

Glad your issues are resolved.... hopefully this translates to reduced thread volume.
