Front Splitter installation??????

I have often wanted a splitter, but have really had no option due to the lowering of my car and the steepness of the workshop driveway. I have felt that it could be an asset on the track. I recently found this one on Ebay UK which looks simple enough to fit, is a true splitter not an air damn, and could be fitted outside the workshop before trackdays. So I'm thinking of just getting this to try. Olli, what do you think?

Maybe better clearance. Does not look as good as Strosek and look-a-likes (A.I.R etc) Undertray section looks interesting. I have played with the idea to make a new mold to the direction this splitter (undertray section) has. Maybe a little bit furter though, so also engine undertray will be part of this.

No definitely doesn't look as good as some others out there, but for this exercise (track) looks are not the main reason for this choice. I think I'll get one and try it. I think it might help aerodynamically at high speed and it's pretty cheap so why not?

Patrick, that is the version that was used by the 951 racers in our Porsche Cup over here in the UK. Andrew Sweetenham from Promax had one on his racecar during the 2000 season and has commented he could definately feel it working at high speed - it's the one that I will be fitting when I get round to it

Three Wheelin'
Just be careful... Ive been driving cars with very low ride heights for years(If the oil pan isnt 2" from the ground, im not happy). You can memorize all the bumps and irregularites in the road for your daily commute and keep the splitter intact, but one short trip out of town on a rainy day... you dont see a dip in the road and that splitter is gonna disappear.
Im lowered 1.5", and I still want to install a splitter
