Default No muffler how bad would it be?

I couldn't find anyone to weld my Borla on to the lindsey exhaust I got used.

I want to drive my car home, I have enough 3" pipe to just run it without a muffler. How bad would it be for about a week?

I know the turbo muffles the sound too.

any clips? thanks...

It's not terribly loud but it sounds crappy if you ask me. You can deal with it if you have too.

Why don't you just slide it on there for the time being and clamp it and seal it?

It's pretty loud - my wife claims she can hear me open it up 2 miles away. But on the track it's quieter than the non-turbo cars without mufflers.

b/c thanks to the PO I have a 4" borla xr-1. the guy I took my wastegate pipe to said he ran out of shielding gas but he could do it.
I'm just gonna ask him to expand the 3" to slip fit into the 4".

I had an open exhaust on a previous turbo. It was loud when I opened the throttle but wasn't too objectionable when just cruising at a constant speed.

Drove my n/a once to the shop @ 3am w/ nothing at all behind the cat. Sounded pretty good (IMO), just wish I could do it more often, without drawing attention from the cops.

FWIW, it wasn't any louder than your average Harley.
