A friend is trying desperately to get this hose from Porsche and get his car back on the road but they tell him it's been discontinued?

Apparently it's one hose on the early 951 and two hoses on the S. Anyone had to replace this hose before?

 

944online has a replacement hose. It's not a one piece T, but something they have to sub for the original. You can't see it anyway.

 

Pelican still sells the 1-piece hose at $46. It's made by APA who makes them as OE for Porsche minus the $70 Porsche charges for the pretty box.

I am not sure which hose you are referring to, but I posted recently about some hoses that I thought were no longer available here https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/434388-replacing-coolant-hoses-that-are-nla.html and Rennbay had them in stock.

Contact Travis at Rennbay, apparently he can still get the original hose for $45 bucks. This info is as of the 8th of this month. See Shiners thread.

 

That's it. If you can get a one piece hose go for it.
