I am restoring my car 87 951, the color that the car have now is a black satin metallic, but I want to change it to a stone gray, my question is: all stone gray colors are metallic?? what color do you think is the best color for a 951?? Thanks

IMO Silver Rose (which is really another pink shade in some light) is the best color I've seen on a 944. Only 72 made, yours would one of a rare few.

There was a lot more than 72 Silver Rose cars made (I think there was almost 400 in the U.S. alone, out of almost 1600 for the world). Here's a good picture of it in the sunlight:

Midnight Blue Metallic. None were made that color. Look up Porsche and the exact color, and see what you think. It's a Porsche color, just not on our cars.
Then get a set of 930 Fuchs!

black and super dark colars are boss but hard work they are always dirty .silver is ultra forgiving and easy to live with .It all depends what you want from it and what your like. I've come to terms with the reality that it will get scratched and get dirty so i love silver . but if your in denial put something wild on it that M3 that is essentaily army dark green with gold perl over top.
it seems metallic grey is a fair compromise .
