I am going to bite the bullet and install in the cabin. I am installing a safety devices cage next weekend and will eventually mount it to that. Hot car, crawling around, there will be enough of that in my future.

I have the SD cage as well.
I removed the rear seat cushion and drilled thru the middle of the sheet metal. They're mounted low on the cage (can be accessed through the opened door) to retain some semi-stealthiness.
Be careful not to hit the fuel lines when drilling thru the passenger rear seat.

I would be grateful if you could share some pictures of this set up.
I have had concerns with fitting canisters on the cross member as the left unit will be just above the rear muffler (too much heat exposure ?) and the right unit would be siding with the fuel filter (not isolated enough for my liking).
PS : I actually haven't got around to fitting the rears yet, as when I first intended installation I found out the upper "hats" on the shell have to be cut off to clear up for canister line connections. Need to buy a dremel ...

Wow! I know I joked about my car feeling like a plushy soft Cadilac after riding in yours but seriously that's no joke. Your car now rides awesome with this setup!

Thanks for your help Stephen. I had a blast driving it to Gilsons, dropping it off for corner balancing and alignment. Wow, what a difference. When I get it back I'll post some pictures of the finished product. Looking forward to cage installation next Saturday.

Hi Thom,
Sorry, but I didn't take any pics of the canisters tied to the tranny member before I relocated them to inside the cabin. Yes, it was close to the fuel filter (I think it was mounted inboard of the filter). I didn't seem to have any issues w/ heat from the exhaust.
I'd strongly recommend mounting in the cabin. It is much easier to check canister pressure when mounted there, which is something you should do on occasion.

Yes this is certainly the best thing to do, and IIRC you sent me pictures of this set up (with canisters attached to the roll bar), however I would rather not have to drill any hole in the shell. I will see ...

I bit the bullet and drilled the holes. It's a tight spot to locate under the chassis and would be a pain to adjust quickly. Mounted to carpet for now, safety devices cage mount when I install next week.

I removed my Stable Energies "bolt in" and have a full custom cage going in right now, will have the car back next week. I will add more photos then.

guys I am installing mine right now and have run into a snag. The front struts have the remote canister line running out the back of the strut which hits right into the strut bar drop link. I noticed in Wormhole's pics that his strut link is mounted without any rubber bushings into a Blaszak steel arm. I too am using a Blaszak arm. Any ideas if this is the recommended cheat?
