Moton installation

Yup, I had to cut the drop link bolt in half basically and needed to thread it further down with a die.
I used a small piece of rubber between the washer and arm instead of the bushing. It works fine and clears without any issues.

Moton must have changed the design in the last years, as the connections to the canister lines on mine are +-90° towards the front of the strut.
For the fortune they sell their products for, Moton could at least provide parts that fit without having to perform such ridiculous butchering

I talked to Lex at Moton and Karl at Racer's Edge. This is a phenomenon that affects all early (short) arm 944's now since Moton only makes the strut body with the line swivel on the inboard position. Moton can make you a custom body with the swivels oriented forward or aft but it takes a special request. I am have just finished cutting down my links and will use the rubber grommet below the arm only and just a body washer on top. Karl thinks this is the way to go. I also talked to Markus Blaszak (since I am using his arms) and he suggested fabbing a special link which he is going to email me a diagram of.
