Default Looking for a 944 Turbo

Honestly i bet you 5000 people have posted on this topic before this. Im hunting for a 944 turbo or i gues a turbo S. Main questions are what are the major tuners for these cars. Whats the difference between the Turbo and the Turbo S and how can i tell the difference. Another car im looking into are Stg 3 Audi S4 and im wondering how the 944 turbo compares.

Last car was a 98 Audi A4 Quattro with a GT30 making 400+Whp.

Any help would be Amazing

Well first off, welcome to the board. Where are you from? Second, you're comparing apples to oranges. There's over 15 years worth of technological differences between an late model Audi S4 and a 944 Turbo. What are you looking to do with it? Do you just want a fast street car? That would help in your decision to look a little bit more.

on buying the car? don't want to spend over 12k for a stock car. I can get a Stg3 S4 for 15 grand right now.

Budget for mods? well its going to be over time but my mod fund is around 3 grand right now.

You can buy a nice, very clean 951 for around 8k (stockish)

12k should buy u a decent 951S.

I would say buy a clean, well broken in 951 for around 7-8k, then mod the **** out of it. 5k can buy u a lot of nice stuff (MAF, exhaust, turbo, suspension, etc, etc)
