Default Selling my '86 951 46k orig. miles

Hi guys,

After 2 years I have decided to exit the 951 world for some time. Michigan's economy sucks, and I have to work too many hours right now to enjoy it much. Here are the details:

46,500 miles at time of post.
I am the second owner of the car.
It is original Graphite Metallic w/ light tan leather interior.

At 38,000 miles I spent $8,500 in maintenance to the car. Replaced were:

Timing belt and Water Pump.
Brand New A/C system w/ new compressor and dryer.
New Clutch Master cylinder
All 4 rotors replaced w/ new pads.
All 4 Calipers totally rebuilt and clearcoated red.
New coolant hoses
All front engine seals and pulleys replaced.
New Koni Yellows in back.
New Fuel Filter.
New OEM Bosch Fuel injectors

All receipts from Munks Motor's.

Oil changed every 2500 miles w/ Valvoline VR racing 20w50
Tranny fluid replaced twice w/ Redline MT-90.

The interior is easily a 9 out of 10.
No Dash Cracks
Leather is excellent w/ some drivers side bolster wear. No Splits.
Sunroof works as it should.

Modifications were kept to a minimum:
951MAX chips
Fabspeed 2.5" testpipe w/ Flowmaster 40 series muffler(nice mean sound)
Lindsey MBC set at 16psi
Bosch 3.0 bar FPR
Venturi delete kit
Autometer Boost gauge
AEM wideband is in pod, but not wired up.

Car runs fine, has never stalled and idles perfectly.

Exterior I would rate an 8/10. There are stone chips on the front and a small ding under the passenger door that you can see if you lean down.
From 3 feet away the car looks excellent, but I am picky in my description.
The turnsignal lenses are fine, but one of the screw posts on the lenses themselves has cracked.

In Closing, I have a car for sale that needs nothing to be a reliable driver for someone wanting a nice low mileage turbo.

I am asking $12,500.

Please pm me for more info.

That's a very nice car for somebody looking for a good low mileage example.

If only I had waited... but wait then I would not have had the fun of doing all the mods myself

Seriously, though this looks like an excellent car. I wish I had the room in the garage for it.

You should really get in there and clean that engine bay. Everything else looks amazing. Nice car.

With some simple green, scrubbing the nooks and crannies with a toothbrush, and a quick hose down, you'll see the beauty that lies within! BTDT

I had a Graphite Metallic car and the engine bay is real tough to get clean looking.

Real clean example and I'll be interested to see what it sells for. I sold mine today for $5500 w/ 142K on it FWIW.

no no no... I was not talking ****. I was just expecting to see a very clean bay with the car only having 46k on it. Not to say it was dirty as hell b/c it was not. Just could use about 30 minutes of cleaning and it would look amazing.

Congrats to the new owner. I hope they are a Rennlist member as I would love to see this car in person.

bigred1001 on a side note I sold my old 951 and within 6 months I was searching for another one.

Very nice car! IMO, you should put it up on ebay, cars and autotrader. If you have the paperwork for the 8000 in work that was done, you shouldnt ask for any less then 13-14000 but thats just me. It seems to be in really good condition
