****. Looks like there's gonna be a rock solid group of modded 951 freaks here in Van.

Time for another 944Fest-West.

Looks great Brian.

FYI - your bottom lip of your spring guide (collar that goes between your helper spring and main spring) on your front Bilstein strut may bottom out on the lower spring perch rather than sit on the compressed helper spring. I had the same issue with mine. I ended up machining a spacer to take up the extra gap. It's not the end of the world, but 1/4 of the weight of your car would be sitting on the lip where the spring guide hits the lower perch. Compress the helper down by hand and you'll see if it'll be an issue or not.

Best of luck.

Are you suppose to run the spring dividers with the flat helper springs? I thought they were for you use 2 wire wound springs.

A few days without progress, I was in Vegas for vacation for a few days

A quick test fit of the rear suspension. Its a close fit to the tranny cooler loop, but I wont have to bend that much.

LR 3" downpipe with V-Band

Crappy pic showing the back of one of the firewall connectors. The wiring is mostly done. The three in the front are shielded wires, two for stock crank VR sensors, one for knock sensor.

60-2 wheel and sensor mount from Chris White and two Hamlin hall sensors, one for crank and one for cam. The 60-2 will be used until MegaSquirt can reliably handle the flywheel starter ring (it needs an adapter board now, so I dont want to bother cause this is easier and I want my car on the road ).

The Ishijara Johnson windage tray (www.crank-scrapers.com). Now I can assemble the engine Anything with this many sharp edges MUST be good... As you can see in the pics, the workmanship on it is FANTASTIC.

Holy crap! That is looking absolutely awesome! I can't wait until you fire it up and post your feedback. I plan on having CW do a 2.7 for me as well.

Intresting - they have added a second scraper to their design, it seems they (IJ Scrpares) are always thinking of things!

Nice work! How are the cylinder sleeves in the block fixed (pic IMG_9408_resized.jpg)?

Friction and some sort of sealant. Chris White or evil 944t could give better details.
