Default Best tune up kit? Wires, cap and rotor...

I was at LR's website and saw Mag Core wires with their cap and rotor, which wires are the best and where is the best place to get them? Also, is their coil better than the regular Bosch?

For what you are running beru oem wires and bosh distribuitor will do just fine.

Many recommend the Beru wires as having the best fitting plug boots. I have the Magnacore wires which seem to work fine and are much cheaper. The coil probably won't make a difference.

Check pricing between pelican, vertexauto, zims, and paragon. Depending on the item, I have seen differences of +/-20% of some items.

agree. LR will be higher, as will 944online.

I usually go with Pelican, but thats because getting it shipped to vegas, the free ground comes like next day
Since your in Florida I would look around. I love the magecores, adds a little color and thicker core to your wires!

This is also a GREAT solution, and Travis is in Florida, so you'll get your stuff quick and you can absolutely BANK on Rennbay's (Travis') integrity, not that you can't feel the same about LR, Paragon or Pelican. There isn't anything especially "special" about any of these parts. I also agree about skipping the coil.

For the 968 I recently bought a set of Bosch wires (gray wires and black connectors) and they fit absolutely perfectly - connectors, lengths, everything. Not many people need an uprated coil.

IMHO the "uprated" coils are a HUGE waste of money. It's like fixing a bullet hole with a bandaid.

I have to say, I HATE my magnacores. I do like the wire themselves but the plug boot isn't water tight (due to the "vent" hole) and the connectors fit like S**T. They are loose on the plugs and don't "snap" on. I had to modify them to make them work the way I like them.

the 8.5 silicone is nice however

I've run magnacor's for 5 years. I've had no problems at all. Same set.
I'd get the rest from Paragon. Once you add shipping from multiple vendors, you'll be better off buying from just one.
