944 turbo vs. 944 turbo S cams

Default 944 turbo vs. 944 turbo S cams
Ok, I picked up a 88' turbo S block to build my motor...it also came with the cam houseing and cam...is there a difference between the turbo and turbo S cam...I have an 87' Turbo?

No, I don't think so. Buy the bigger cam software and it will help.

huh...bigger cam software...what are you talking about...does it come with a cam...sorry but have never heard of any way of changing duration with software and still can't see how you could do something like that...maybe i'm misunderstanding you

all 8v cams are same. The only difference is DEM and K26/8 turbo

Yes and no.

The early NA cam (82-85) is the same as the turbo cam. In 86 (when the turbo was introduced) the NA cam was changed.
