Default New Lindsey Racing Web Site

How is everybody enjoying the new web site? I would be interested in how everybody else is getting used to it and what they think of the new way of finding what you need.

Title pages are annoying, I don't like having to "click here" to enter. Other than that I like it, like the menus, makes it quick to get around.

Going with the pack
is quite monotonous.

It looks good but some of the menus are longer than my screen is tall...
Laptop is 800 pixles tall.

I do not particularly like having to drill down thru the menu every time I want to look at something different in the same category.

Boy do I agree on that. I e mailed Dave Lindsey and bitched at him about it. It still seems to me that it's more difficult to navigate than it was. Dave e mailed me back and explained that it was a work in progress and the end result was expected to be better for all users. In the meantime it just annoys the **** out of me. Dave said he had nothing but positive reviews about it so maybe I'm just 'puter stupid. Also I'm old enough that I'm becoming resistant to change. I did like the ease of navigation and that appears to be gone forever. Bummer.

aww...the fecal roster is gone. That was entertaining.

If you use the top nav bar in red, you can traverse up / down within a category. I'm not having too much trouble with that.

Seems pretty similar to the last site...

The left nav is a lot better than it used to be.

all they did was change the menu thing, big deal. The end results are still the same pages. I thought their site was pretty decent to start with compared to many others out there - their Tech Garage is good...I used it a lot for pictures on several things when I was first getting started on my car last year.

Interesting, I never saw this before... but I actually think I know this guy... "John Stagnicta." Does anyone from LR need to get ahold of him by now? It was yeeears ago that he had his 951. Not sure.

As for the site layout, I kind of liked it better before as well.

Contact them and see if they are interested. I'm sure they are.
