Matt, just so you know I just re did my engine due to an unrelated rod bearing failure and saw absolutely no signs of damage. I have been running it for long time. I have been running it in other vehicles for over 3 years now

I do lots of Vegas to SD back and forth driving and Id love to switch over to help with the cost. I would assume cruising at 85mph would net me similar mileage as gas and save meabout $.50 a gallon?

It won't, um.... Idle very well right now. I think it may be NOT enough fuel - even for idling, because when I put the vac line back on the FPR, it dies even quicker. There seems to be a surging under power, until the cam turns over at 7k. Then its smooth, but I can't tell until I get some meters on it whether its even remotley handling it fuel-increase wise. My gut tells me... Its not.
While I wish not to get into the poltical aspect of ethanol, I have planned an entire car around the fuel, so I am on board with it - but these experiments with it on the more modern Honda tells me you need ALOT more fuel at ALL rpms.

It will need around 20% more fue to idle. Removing thevacuum hoe might give you 5-10 more psi. Not enough to cover the gap. When you hit the pedal, doesn't help.
You can get Hondata for next to nothing used on a non-turbo application. Tune it extremey easy. for the fuel and timing. You'll also nee to advance it since it's sucha complete and slow burn.
If this is just for street driving, you're goingt o have to be almost as serious about tuning for this fuel as you would the race car.
A Mafterburner will work great. as long as your injectors aren't maxed out already.

Brendan how warm was the car?? If it was cold that may be part of it.
Also what year is it? I have found anything after 1995 is much more difficult and requires some injector massaging between the Brain and the injector, as they have more of a complex 02 setup.
You may want to try to thread a small machine screw into the FPR and raise the pressure or do the smash technique.
To simplify all it will take forsomeone to run at lower boost using E 85 I will write out the steps. Thsi is the way I know it works easy.
1) change fuel lines in front and rear to A/N style (not necessary but not a bad idea)
2) use a RRFPR 1:1
3) have a fuel pressure gauge one the fuel line If you are running up to ~15 psi crank it up to around 40 at idle. Any thing over that will need more pressure or bigger injectors or like me you can use an external fuel source
4) watch the A/F ratio close, you can even use a narrow band and the readings will want to be slightly rich when on it.
5) if you want to do a little more fine tuning you can use the FQS switch on the DME
If i take it easy w/o hotrodding too much, I can get ~400miles per tank using this method
If you are looking to do a lot of highway driving w/o too much hotrodding you can run it very lean and get really good mileage with these cars.
The only thing to note is you may want to let it warm up pretty well and You may (not likely) have to raise the idle slightly.

ok, so when I up convert to MAF and get a mafterburner with it, ill throw in some larger injectors while im at it and give this a wirl then. Ill be running 15 psi. Dyno tune for better later

once it gets real nice vacuum I will be:
running about 50-60psi FP at the rail with a 1:1
using about a 50 oriface on the enrichment
this go around I am looking to make ~410-420 with the pressure at about 18 psi. It already feels pretty good at 15
on the dyno I will start at 25psi using the same jet as last time .046
then 27psi with a larger jet
then 30psi with a larger jet
If I see any significant detonation (knock counts) I will turn on the methanol and that should take care of them. I didn't need it at 25 psi the last time.
and if it holds well I will be around 32psi and I think this turbo will hold it. It is a high pressure unit and flows a lot more air than the last one did.
I am going to watch my exhaust pressure pretty close and if it gets too high I will switch to my .69 hotside and try again.
I don't know where this will put me in terms of RWHP but I am hoping for over 475

I'm thinking at 32psi you'll be giving 500whp a nudge! Get yourself a decent d/pipe & exhaust too. At least 3" into a 4", if not bigger.

At this point what I have is a 3" downpipe and I will be going into a 3.5" center section and then for the time being back down to the 3" Borla setup.
I really don't want to get too carried away with this thing. If you remember I have another project ongoing that should produce well and that one I am not worried about killing
