Default Stall/cutting out during hard turn

I have noticed that when I turn on the harder side (this is on street tires on the streets so not THAT hard), my car cuts out. It feels like something is loosing connection. I also noticed it does it when I go over a really bumpy street at speed. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and where to look first. My ref/speed sensors are still oem (but both are stuck in there VERY tight). Cleaned my TPS sensor last fall when it was out.

I cleaned the grounds when i had the intake off, not sure if I got them all. Anyone want to tell me where the grounds are in the engine bay? I know the one by the intake manifold, just by the spark plugs. Good thinking ryan, never thought of that.

I had a car do that once. In fact is was RKD in OKC'c first white 944turbo he had. The main battery wire going down to the starter was moved to the side at the starter connection and would contact the body on hard turns and make the car cut out intermittently.

It has been a while since then but I don't remember it being too difficult. I could see traces of the wire arcing on the tin foil that is around the starter area.

Try wiggling various parts of the wiring harness while the car is idling -- injector wires, ref sensors, air flow sensor wires, etc. Sometime you will get lucky and find it that way.

I remember taking PorscheMD for a test ride. Just after it cut out on a clover leaf on ramp where the cut out upset the balance and caused the drift to move over about 2 feet towards the cars in the next lane of traffic, the ground strap solution immediately popped into his head. He also swore he would never ride with me driving again.

Is the distributor cap on tight? make sure the bottom clip is on correctly. Its a pita to get latched properly.

Richard, it was the B+ wire going to the starter, not the ground strap and your right I swore I would not ride with you again and haven't!!LOL
