The serial production units will feature housings that are manufactured in high-quality FRP including black matt gelcoat and the rear edge of the frame painted on the makrolon cover will be twice as thick as pictured here.

The next pics you will see will be fitted into the car. This is where you will be able to see the excellent fitment!

Cheers

Beni

Looks like quite nice work. The lens' are amazing quality from the pictures.

Will their be gaskets for where the lens meets the bucket, or where the back of the light meets the bucket?

I could see using a sealant on the lense to bucket, however due to the design you wouldn't be able to easily replace the light reflector if needed. An idea for a future design could be like one piece for the bucket, and another for the light reflector bracket that could come off for full access to the parts inside.

How about ventilation for condensation? Any drains?

Personally, I live in a very wet climate, and worry about having fish bowls for lights.

Keep up the good work, these new items are a real benifit to our community!

Hi Guys I'm back after living in a world of FRP dust

The pictures which I sent Beni posted above were not perfect so I thought I'd let you into a day in the life of a composite expert as I sorted them out

Well I know pictures explain a thousand words so what are we waiting for ...

As you can see in the picture below i've had to make a small modification as one side was not quite the same as the other

After cutting out the S4IT side I reposition:

And heres a close up:

Well like I say this is how the experts rectify there previous F##K UP's ... Notice I've masked from the inside:

No this is not a bomb factory ... It's a case of what happens when you put lethal chemicals is a plastic jug - We'll call this the 'Leaning Tower of GTS' or in other words 'brush cleaner':

Glass-matt and resin applied:

And if you are as good as me then you get a near perfect finished result

And the dirty side:

Time for some filler - Or as we call it in the UK 'BOG':

And a close up picture:

LOOK mum ... One quick sand and the job is done

Like I said - JOB DONE And yes that is the spare hatch in the background for the F40 project - Coming to a 951 SOON

Well Beni ... I'm sorry if the colour is not going to be a perfect match but BMW red was all I could get this evening - At least it's German:

0-60 in Tasty

And for the Grand Finaly - Well this is what it's all about

Yes that's right under 1kg per side and the brackets will weight next to nothing and that's to follow

Are you guys going to do a mold of the buckets and produce them in plastic of some nature? Seems much easier for you if you could, probably more expensive to do that v's how many you'll sell though...

SO WHAT IS THE ETA?

I see some on your web site, but I'm not sure if those are the latest version. I'm ready to buy.

Why are the lights not centered in the buckets horizontally?
