Default CREAK RATTLE NOISE FROM REAR HATCH

As you can see in the picture I have an adjustable rear wing and I have a constant rattle from rear hatch over hard bumps. I have tried to adjust both hatch pins & lube locks. Still there and it drives me bonkers since I can't stand rattles any where
from the car. There is all the correct foam and padding around to seal properly.
Any one had this before or have any technical suggestions?

Thanks in advance for you input!

My car makes a squeaky rattle sound and I was told that it is the hatch beginning to separate from the frame.

on my old 944, the hatch glass had mildly (whatever that means) seperated from the frame... it'd make noise.

Be sure your latch pins are adjusted properly :-)

That could be possible though it has 34K on the body? It sounds like the pins that lock the hatch to the rear locks have play but adjusting the pins did not solve the issue. The sound is mainly from the right rear area and happens during harder bumps. Suspension set up doesn't help being so stiff so may be I should live with
it!

If that is indeed the case, then don't worry. Hatch reseals are a pain in the *** but can be done at home if you don't have to have the car for a few days.

Try a dab of grease on the pins.

Thanks, looks like you have one your self. My wife loves her e39 touring. Great looking baby movers.
