i tend to run into these vented nosepans alot for some reason. I have a turbo nose in the garage right now and a wrecked ventednose that im using to build another turbo version w/ the 924t vents for a rennlister. THe ones on the red car came from Tifosman and the ones on the grey car i cut from a nosepan that another rennlister had. Ive had about five of these nosepans so far- oh make that six my brother in "law" has one on his car now too.

hey Ben so its running? or did Sam steal all your parts?
Hey Dan, yeah it's running, but I am still chasing down a vacuum leak. Should be in good shape once that's done. Next on the list is torsion bars and springs. I think I have just enough spares to keep mine and Sam's car running!

Ben, are you running your car without the bolt that holds the fuel rail to the cam tower?
Good eye, yeah wasn't quite finished putting it all back together when I took that. Coolant is pretty low in that pic too! Now it has some other shiny bits on there, LR fuel lines, etc...

Are your catchcan and overflow tank custom pieces? Looks like the catchcan has SFR on it. Car looks amazing, what a beast that's going to be.

Tim made these. They are available from him. We did some fairly new things with this build. The anti surge housing on the GTK 650 was so big Tim built a bracket to mount a Nissan alternator so I could keep the stock AC in place and run a 4" intake and a blow through MAF metering air after the intercooler. We are running a front mounted intercooler and installed an oil cooler in the stock intercooler location.

We'll post results in a few weeks.

sweet looking motor George. Did you have any issues w/ the hood closing w/ the hose for your catch can mounted there? i ran Sam's like that and the hood was pinching the hose- i had to move it over the strut tower.

I am installing a Haltech EMS unit that I bought used from Jason Judd, along with fixing an oil leak that was there since the engine rebuild I did 2 years ago. I'll be using the stock turbo & injectors for now, curious how the car will do with a 26/8 and the Haltech. My real goal is reliability though, since my factory wiring harness was giving me all sorts of problems.

Here is my list of parts for the EMS:

EMS + Harness
Intake Air Temp Sensor
Intake Air Temp Sensor Bung
Coolant Temp Sensor (small thread)
S3 Crank Sensor
Crank Sensor Connector
Rare Earth Magnets
Dual Channel Ignitor
2 Coils
Plug Wires
Idle Control Valve
Idle control connector
Shift Light
K&N Air Filter
Haltech Trim Module
Boost Control Solenoid
Electric Oil Temp Sensor
Boost Gauge (to replace Autometer gauge that has gone bad)
EGT Monitor - 4 channel
EGT Bungs - Compression Fitting
Adjustable Timing Gear
Innovate LC-1

Parts for Maintenance:
MLS Headgasket
Intake Gaskets
Coolant Gaskets
Oil Cooler Seal Kit
Cam Tower Gasket
Cam Woodruff Gear
Oil Thermostat
Oil Thermostat Sealing Ring
Coolant Thermostat + Circlip
Steam Vent Kit
Taps, Tap Handles, Drills
Wastegate Doughnut seal
Sunroof Gears
Timing Belt
Balance Belt
Lifters (2)
Hood Shocks

Sorry no pictures yet, but they'll come.

Edit: Here is my harness layout
