Yea, coming from FL and now living in the NE recently, I am not used to just staring at my car in the driveway and it almost never moving due to the weather and roads up here.

As the point of this thread, it does me give a reason to get more parts and do some things I had been putting off. Actually just got the last thing from Fed Ex today for my new revamping project....

And I bet I paid a LOT less than ST would have for all of the parts.

Sorry, just keeping the ST ball busting going.

Awesome! Those are the two most important factors for me as anyone can build any car/motor with tons of money and/or tons of octane.

To do it on a reasonable budget by doing a lot of research and not just writing checks or having to use 150 octane is very cool!!!

yess thats the last thing i want to do because i only work a part time and go to school full time. My suspension is all worked, tranny is in good shape so the engine is what is left. all i want to do is rape 911's & etc on the track so i am going to be needing that mid range. i am not looking for squeezing out the max hp out of 2.5. Also making good power with out spending $20,000 on a motor and $8.00 a gallon worth of fuel

That is a very bold statement . It would be hard to achieve such high goals out of a 2.5.

I have been head deep since the day i brought the car. I spun my car 4 times before i made home the day i bought the car in a major snow storm that had no warning. So its all good from there. lol .

Jim, Dave, and I think it can be done. We have the knowledge and expertise to make it. So i am up for the challenge. I have been given an opportunity so i took it.

Imaginary or at least a turbo with all the pixie dust in the world.

I love how people on this forum think they have the power to defy physics. It might be fun to bend light while you are at it.

However your goal is attainable if you use nitrous.

Either way good luck, it will at least be a learning experience, it was for me.

Man... 400hp. That's gonna be fun. I'd love a ride in a 400hp 944 if any of you ever get the chance to come through OKlahomaland.

400 rwhp is not unachievable with a stock 2.5. I have done that with no internal mods before, it did take a lot of bolt on parts and standalone!
1 bar at 2800….piece of cake, all my set ups can run at 1 bar absolute even when the engine isn’t running…..

Might want to ask Dave again about what else will be required to make 400whp with boost at that rpm. You'll need more then a turbo. If you're just changing the turbo and installing MAF, MBC etc. You're best to shoot for a lower number, I don't want you to be disappointed, lol.
