Default proper brakes eh :)

330x28mm with 61mm width rotors, full floating direct drive by PFC, gonna start makeing hub adapter and caliper adapter, gonna run PFC97 pads. I have also bought rear calipers to get the weight down.

beats useing stoneage 993 biturbo stuff, should outbrake it easy, and weighing a few kg's less

also started on the ruff sketch of the caliper adapter.

has anyone got technical drawings of the old 944Turbo rotors/calipers and perhaps 996?

What caliper will you use? Or the ones in the picture? Because they look like 993TT stuff.

they are from 996 C2/C4 (also 986 boxster S) monoblocks, and light

I am not using 993T, which are 2 piece, heavier, and for a 32mm rotor, aka heavy stuff.

Is the bolt spacing the same, or did you make a bracket?

I'm building everything from scratch, custom hub, and custom caliper adapter, prototyping and testing in delrin, final product in T6.

Looks good Anders. I'm a fan of PFC and was pursuing some of their stuff in the past. I'll be watching this thread to see how you go.

Im trying to find an apropriate rear rotor as well, I'll go thru their catalog with the norwegian dealer tomorrow, no doubt they have some good stuff.

again, if anyone has technical drawings on anything it would be awsome, much easier as I don't have to measure anything then.

your brakes and tires will go further will go further than those on a 993 but but you will not out brake a 993 due to its rear wieght ballis .
think about how you best stop your bicyle with your ***** rubbing the rear tire

What about showing the adapters that work with the late model offsets though Olli?
Anders, so by going a slightly thinner disc does that have any effect on the pads re not using the PFC calipers? Are you going to leave your master cylinder stock?

Er, I'd rather not Adam you crazy Melbournian!!!

Sure we have some inherent disadvantages against a rear engined car so there's no changing that, but we also have some advantages. No point not having major stopping power if you have major power.

We have done adapters just for the late offset cars. Old offset is difficult because of front disk & hub. Rear calipers are easy for old offset, because GT3 rear disk is a bolt on, no need for handbrake shoe adapters like new offset needs.
