the intercooler hoses are very soft on my car and i think they should be replaced. should i go oem or is there a silicone option that will increase rigidity and durability? if so where can i find it?

It's ok if they are soft, as long as there are no cracks, OEM hoses will cost you more than Silicone. I got silicone on mine and they weren't that expensive, I'd go silicone...

i just bought the www.lindseyracing.com turbo->intercooler line - it makes the 90 at the turbo in metal instead of in rubber- much nicer IMHO- not sure what other lines they have. ONly thing is you cant use it w/ your stock airbox. Im sure if you were crafty you could cut up another stock pipe and make a 90 in metal and use only small silicone connections for more rigidity. I just bought all my new connections from www.siliconeintakes.com and they rock!
