ISV hose routing
Question for you folks.
I was sifting thru some old pics and saw that the long hose that connect to the ISV was connecting to the J boot on the other end in the past. My understanding was that it is supposed to be connected to the intercooler return pipe and the crancase breather pipe is what connects to the J boot.
Please advise.
Thanks.
Raj

Looks like I got my answer in PET. The crank breather connects to J boot as I thought.
Next question: Would it make a difference if it was done the other way?

BIG difference!
Do not attach crank breather to IC pipe!
This will pressurize the sump causing (among other problems) pushed oil pan gasket and inhibit oil drain from turbo - killing the exhaust seals.

LDP, I know what you mean, I was just curious.
ST, Good point. I plan to follow the normal ducting but I was just curious since the hose makes so many turns and is a pain to pull and route to the IC pipe.
Thanks for your help guys.
